Certifiable rant, as requested

Well it's getting pretty intense with all the deadlines and still so many new things to learn while I try to put into practice the stuff I barely know that I need to get started in my new career which includes doing things with my time that are so new they freak me out because I'm new to all this!

Thanks for listening.

Amazing web designs!

Wow, there's some great blogs out there. But if you really want to be amazed, check out some amazing web pages. My Dreamweaver guru friend (who secretly prefers InDesign as a program to work with) Sent me to this page that has award winning web designs. What's not to love! It's easy to see why those pages ended up in this category.

Aark Collective Is a clean, artistic web page that shows the product line to its best advantage. This classic design mirrors the classic line of time pieces this company is known for.

This website features Knock Inc. and their client, New Balance. The choice of image is effective in that it highlights the client. It's a great way to showcase results!

About Lower Mainland schools

Cruising around the local post secondary favourites and thought I'd do a comparison. Warning! My bias may be obvious.

Capilano's website looks to me to be the easiest one to navigate for someone who is new to this college or any other. The "Who Are You" tab at the bottom is very user friendly.

Langara's appears to have the least user friendly page of the three. Maybe it's only me, I'm not fond of that much orange.

Douglas college underwent re-branding recently. I was a student at the time and saw a change in theme that washed through the campus. The theme is classy, classic, and very engaging. The new website was a bit different at first, but turned out to be easier to navigate because it reflects other current trends in technology. I especially like the gallery in the way that it specifies the course taken by the student and shows the student applying what they've learned. I also find that the color does not compete with the information.
